In bustling 1992, in a predominantly male-dominated industry, Alessandra Talarico took a bold step that redefined the insurance landscape. Fuelled by a passion for customer service and a vision of a more inclusive approach, she founded Sopabroker Insurance, a beacon of trust and reliability in the insurance industry.

As one of the few women in the industry at the time, Alessandra set out to create a company that not only provided top-notch customised insurance solutions, but also prioritised the personal touch that seemed to be missing in the industry. What started as a small family business quickly became a haven for customers who were looking for more than just a policy: they were looking for genuine assistance and understanding. Sopabroker boasts a unique identity, not only because of the pioneering spirit of its founder, but also because of its remarkable composition. With a high percentage of women in the team, the company exudes an atmosphere of compassion, attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

What sets Sopabroker apart is not only the wide range of customised insurance solutions it offers, but also the meticulous follow-up and support provided to each customer. The team goes beyond paperwork, acting as a proactive guide in the insurance journey. Clients receive timely reminders for policy expiration dates, payment due dates and additional assistance if needed. In times of difficulty, be it accidents or unexpected problems, the Sopabroker team is a pillar of support. The team goes to great lengths to assist customers, ensuring that they do not have to face challenges alone. This commitment is deeply rooted in the company’s ethos of honesty and transparency.

Unlike others, the Sopabroker team takes the time to talk to companies, to prepare different solutions to give the customer a choice, and to explain the contractual terms in a comprehensive manner, leaving no room for confusion or surprises. It is a brokerage company rather than a pure insurance company and reflects the vision and mission of wanting to be on the customer’s side.
Why waste time on quotes, websites or on the phone to find the best solution when Sopabroker can do it for you?

This is the service that has always been lacking in insurance and is why Alessandra chose “grey” as the company’s representative colour. Grey is the middle ground, grey is the shade where black and white meet and Sopabroker’s mission is to be the bridge between the companies and the end customers, ensuring that everything works well for the customers.

Sopabroker began specialising in the construction sector, where it was able to create unique covers for major projects that redesigned the Milan skyline. However, the focus on customer needs has led Sopabroker to broaden its perspective and also embrace individual needs with Auto, Health and Life, Corporate Insurance and Animal policies.

Today, Sopabroker continues its mission and hopes to spread its customer-focused philosophy.

More than a work team, we are family for each other. That’s why we decided to write this beautiful quote on the picture of us:

‘The family is the first place where one understands the meaning of existence, in a world where the values of profit, wealth, and pleasure prevail, the culture of welcome aims to cultivate the values of service and gift’. – A.
